About Post- Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 Notification vide Notification No. 487 dated 26 March 2026, under the Jharkhand Shikshak Patrata Pariksha Niyamawali-2026.The JTET 2026 is a state-level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Sahayak Aacharya (Assistant Teacher) in government and aided schools across Jharkhand.

This exam is conducted in two levels — Level-1 for Primary (Class 1–5) and Level-2 for Upper Primary (Class 6–8). A candidate can appear in both levels. Eligible candidate must read official notification for more details.

  • 12th Pass (Min. 50%) + 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Graduation + 2-Year D.El.Ed (Any Name)

  • Required Qualifications

    • Graduation + 2-Year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)
      (Recognized by any approved institution, irrespective of course name)

      (Candidates enrolled after 29 July 2011)
    • Graduation with Minimum 45% Marks + B.Ed
      (As per NCTE norms, candidates enrolled before 29 July 2011)
    • 12th (Intermediate) with Minimum 50% Marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed
    • 12th with Minimum 50% Marks + 4-Year Integrated Course
