Eligibility (CTET) February 2025
Primary Stage (Class I to V)
  • For Primary Level (Class 1–5)

    • Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)

    OR

    • Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms

    OR

    • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

    OR

    • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

    For Upper Primary Level (Class 6–8)

    • Graduation Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education

    OR

    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)

Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)

  • Bachelor Degree & Passed OR Appearing in Final Year of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education (By Whatever Name Known) OR
  • Graduation with 50% Marks & Passed OR Appearing in 1 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • Graduation with 45% Marks & Passed OR Appearing in 1 Year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in Accordance with the NCTE Norms OR

Important Note on Exam City Selection

  • Exam city is allotted on a first-come, first-served basis depending on availability.

  • If a selected city reaches full capacity, candidates must choose another city.
  • If payment is cancelled, the application will not be considered, and the fee will be refunded as per the payment method.
  • No request for change of exam city will be accepted later.
