JSSC JILCCE Scheme of Examination & Marks Pattern

• Exam Mode

  The JILCCE 2026 examination may be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR-based offline mode, as decided by JSSC. If the examination is conducted in multiple shifts, the marks will be normalized as per the prescribed procedure.

  Marking Scheme

  • Correct Answer: +3 marks
  • Wrong Answer: -1 mark
  • Unattempted Question: No marks deducted

  Selection Process

  Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
  A Preliminary Examination will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the next stage when applicable.

  Stage 2: Main Examination
  Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination will appear for the Mains Examination, which will determine their merit for further selection.

  Important: If the total number of applications received is less than 50,000, JSSC may conduct the Main Examination directly without a Preliminary Examination, as per the recruitment notification.

  Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Bengali, Mundari, Ho, Khadiya, Kudukh, Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Odia or Sanskrit.

  Final Merit List

  The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined marks obtained in Paper 2 and Paper 3. Paper 1 is qualifying in nature and is not counted towards the final merit score.

How to Fill JSSC JILCCE Intermediate Level Online Form 2026

• Candidates can submit the JSSC JILCCE 2026 online application through the official JSSC portal from 20 July 2026 to 19 August 2026.

  Step 1: Online Registration

  Visit the official JSSC website and select “Online Application for JILCCE-2026.” Complete the registration process using your basic personal and contact details. After successful registration, note down your Registration Number and Password.

  Step 2: Fill Application Form & Select Preferences

  Log in using your registration credentials and complete the application form. Enter your name, father’s name, address, category, educational qualification, and other details exactly as mentioned in your Matriculation (10th) certificate.

  Candidates who are eligible for multiple posts can select their post preferences in the prescribed order, subject to the recruitment rules.

  Step 3: Pay Application Fee

  After completing and saving the application details, select “Submit To Proceed Payment” and pay the applicable examination fee through the available online payment method.

  Step 4: Upload Documents

  After successful fee payment, log in again if required and upload the prescribed recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format and size.

  Step 5: Verify & Submit

  Before final submission, carefully check the complete application preview and verify every field, including personal information, qualification, category, and post preferences. Submit the application only after confirming that all details are correct.

  Domicile & Certificate Requirements

  Candidates claiming reservation or local-resident benefits should ensure that their certificates meet the date, issuing-authority, and other requirements specified in the official notification. Particular attention should be given to domicile, caste, and EWS certificate validity.

  After successful submission, candidates should save and print the final application form, registration details, and payment receipt for future reference.
