• Minimum Age Limit : 21 Years
• Maximum Age Limit : 35 Years
• Age Relaxation : Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer); 10 years for Female Candidates; PwBD as per CG Govt rules; Max age limit inclusive of all relaxations cannot exceed 45 Years.

CG Teacher Vacancy, Pay Scale & Essential Qualification Details

• Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks (or 45% as per NCTE rules) in relevant concerned subject and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR B.Ed. / B.Ed (Special Education) OR 4-Year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed / B.El.Ed.
• TET Qualified: Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Paper-II conducted by State Govt / NCTE[cite: 8]. (Note: TET is NOT compulsory for Teacher Agriculture).

• Graduation Degree in relevant concerned subject with minimum 50% marks along with D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.
• Must be TET Passed (Paper-II Upper Primary Level).

CG Vyapam Teacher Selection Process & Probation Terms

• Stage 1: Written Competitive Examination

  Candidates will first appear for the Written Competitive Recruitment Examination conducted by CG Vyapam. Candidates must qualify according to the prescribed examination criteria and cut-off.

  Stage 2: Merit List

  A merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written examination and applicable recruitment rules.

  • Merit List Validity: 6 months from the date of result declaration.
  • Waiting List: A waiting list of up to 25% of the advertised posts may be prepared and will remain valid for 9 months.

  Stage 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination

  Candidates shortlisted through the merit process will undergo Document Verification. Their educational certificates, domicile, category documents and other required credentials will be checked. Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed medical fitness requirements.

  Probation Period

  Candidates selected for appointment will remain on probation for 3 years, subject to the applicable service rules and conditions.

  Final Selection: Appointment will be based on the prescribed merit, successful document verification, medical fitness, vacancy availability and applicable Chhattisgarh Government recruitment rules.
