Age Limit & Passing Year Criteria (As on 28/08/2026)

• Age Limit : As Per Apprenticeship Rules.
• Passing Year Condition : Candidates who passed their qualifying Degree/Diploma in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 as regular students are eligible.
• Candidates who passed prior to 2021 or are currently pursuing higher studies are NOT eligible.

ISRO URSC Apprentice Selection Process Stages

• The selection process for ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be carried out in the following stages:

  1. Merit-Based Shortlisting

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the aggregate percentage of marks or CGPA obtained in the qualifying Degree/Diploma examination.
  • No written examination or interview will be conducted.
  • Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and securing higher merit will be shortlisted.

  2. Document Verification

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
  • Candidates must produce original documents, including:
    • Educational Certificates & Mark Sheets
    • Degree/Diploma Certificate
    • Aadhaar Card or Valid Photo ID
    • Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • PwBD/EWS Certificate (if applicable)
    • Recent Passport Size Photographs
  • Failure to produce valid documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.

  3. Final Merit List

  • The final selection will be based on the verified academic merit after successful document verification.
  • A final merit panel will be prepared, and selected candidates will receive apprenticeship offers according to the available vacancies.

  4. Medical Fitness Examination

  • Candidates selected for apprenticeship must be medically fit as per ISRO/URSC norms.
  • They may be required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered Medical Officer before joining the training program.
  • Final appointment is subject to fulfilling the prescribed medical fitness requirements.

How to Fill ISRO URSC Apprentice Online Form 2026

• • Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal and complete your registration to obtain the NATS Enrolment Number.
  • Ensure your Aadhaar is linked with your bank account and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) is enabled.
  • Log in to the UMANG Portal, search for “URSC Apprenticeship”, and select the apprenticeship post you wish to apply for.
  • Fill in the online application form and enter your NATS Enrolment/Registration Number.
  • Upload the required documents, including:
    • Semester/Year-wise Mark Sheets (PDF/Image, up to 1 MB)
    • Degree/Diploma Certificate (up to 1 MB)
    • Recent Passport Size Photograph (up to 50 KB)
    • Signature (up to 50 KB)
    • Category Certificate, if applicable
  • Carefully verify all the details before submitting the application.
  • Submit the online application on or before 28 August 2026.
